Open, I'll write a post soliciting comments and reviews, asking those of you who read the book to weigh-in with your (honest) thoughts. A few weeks down the road - sometime between Wimbledon and the U.S. This book will certainly put that theory to test. We hear all the time that the reading public is most interested in gossip, intimate revelations, score-settling and whistle-blowing. To me, the interesting to see will be how successful we can be with a book that's long on tennis - the X's and O's, the relationships with coaches, the issues and decisions faced by a player who has the potential - in this case, totally fulfilled - to become a champion on the short list for Greatest of All Time.
