But old family issues and commitment doubts could either move them forward or hold these two back. With everything going quite well with Mitchell & Madison and The Popped Cherry-the law practice Logan shares with his brother Cole and the bar Tate opened and co-owns with Logan, respectively-maybe they can finally take a step back from being hands-on professionally and being more hands-on personally. Four years into their relationship and both Logan and Tate seem to be keeping things steady, but that doesn't necessarily mean that they're content because that could equate to a lackadaisical outlook. If you're familiar with Logan and Tate's story, then you'll know that they faced quite a few challenges to their new and hesitant relationship, and now, they're still very much together, but that doesn't mean that there aren't any obstacles-whether they be from other people or the questions that linger in their own heads-left for them to hurdle. This fourth book-as do the upcoming fifth and sixth ones-takes place four years after the events that played out in the books that make up the original trilogy- Try, Take, and Trust. But my newly established fangirling is leading me to digress! If anything, that anticipation was ramped up because I assumed (yes, yes, I know what could possibly happen when you wrongly assume something) it was going to happen, so I was all excited and antsy. HOWEVER, that doesn't mean that the anticipation leading to that ending-and it was a doozy of a cliffhanger that had me screaming into my pillow in both delight and despair, because of its squee-worthiness and its to-be-determined resolution, respectively-lessened by any measure of the imagination (and hello, my imagination can be really vivid and creative, people). Ella Frank's fourth and latest addition to her much-loved and highly recommended Temptation M/M contemporary romance series teases and tempts readers, especially at the end, which, if I'm being honest, I wasn't surprised about, not after that teeny, tiny gem in the author's co-written, alongside Brooke Blaine, series, PresLocke, involving the Temptation lead characters, Logan Mitchell and Tate Morrison. If ever there were a more apt title to reflect the content that lay within, Tease takes the cake.
